The Lycée Français International de Tenerife Jules Verne is a French school in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for pupils aged 3 to 18, from the first year of Educación Infantil to the second year of Bachillerato. It belongs to the network of the Mission laïque française (Mlf), which together with the AEFE is one of the two main operators of French education abroad. The school is homologated by both the French Ministry of National Education and the Spanish Ministry of Education, so pupils obtain the official qualifications of both systems: the Brevet and the Baccalauréat, and the Spanish ESO and Bachillerato diplomas.

From age 3 pupils are taught in French and Spanish and also start English, aiming for C1-C2 certification in English and French by the end of school; the school is an approved centre for Cambridge and Alliance Française exams. Daily school life is in French. The school is opposite the Conservatorio tram stop. Admission starts with a phone call or form, followed by an individual visit with the head of primary, after which families receive the enrolment documents. Pupils joining the Bachibac from outside the French network need French at level B1 and a strong academic record.

Admission
Families contact the school by phone (922 205 518) or through the visit form. A member of the school then arranges an individual visit (between 9:00 and 17:00) with the head of primary, who explains the teaching model, stages and languages; the enrolment documents are handed over at the visit. Enrolment is possible for the current or the following school year. For the Bachibac, pupils from outside the French school network need French at level B1, strong results and a good academic record.
Language requirements
According to the school, 90% of children do not speak French when they arrive; they learn it through immersion from age 3. Pupils joining the Bachibac from outside the French school network must certify French at level B1.
