The Lycée français Molière in Zaragoza is a private, secular French school for children aged 2 to 18, teaching since 1972. It follows the official programmes of the French Ministry of Education and its teaching is recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education, so pupils can continue their studies at any Spanish or French school. The lycée belongs to the Mission laïque française network (Mlfmonde).
French is the language of instruction. English is introduced from age 2, and the school has native-speaker teachers of French, Spanish and English. Schooling runs from Maternelle (age 2) to Terminale (age 18):
- Pre-primary (Infantil)
- Primary
- Collège (ESO), with the Diplôme national du Brevet at the end of 3ème
- Lycée, leading to the French Baccalauréat
Pupils also obtain the Spanish ESO certificate at the end of 2nde, and thanks to the Franco-Spanish agreement they can enter Spanish universities. They sit Cambridge English exams and the DELF French exams at several stages. French residents in Spain can apply for a scholarship. Enrolment for 2027-28 is open: families book a personal visit and then complete the online application, which the admissions department reviews; for the final years it depends on the school record.
