Millersville University is one of the ten universities of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, with a 250-acre campus in Millersville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in the north-eastern United States. It began as a teachers' college in 1855.
Millersville offers more than 100 undergraduate programmes in five colleges, with majors in science and mathematics, education, the humanities and the social sciences, and an exploratory path for students who have not yet chosen a major. Examples range from accounting, actuarial science and computer science to allied health technology and applied engineering and technology management. Undergraduates can apply to the Honors College, and the university also offers more than 70 post-baccalaureate (graduate) programmes and a range of online programmes. Internships, study abroad and civic engagement are part of the experience.
International students apply through the university's international admissions office. On campus, residence halls offer suite-style rooms and living-learning communities that group students with shared academic and social interests. Students can join Division II athletic teams and some 170 clubs and organisations.

Programmes
More than 100 academic programmes and multidisciplinary options in five colleges, plus an exploratory path for undecided students. Majors cover science and mathematics, education, the humanities and the social sciences, for example accounting, actuarial science, anthropology, animal behaviour, applied disability studies and computer science. Undergraduates can apply to the Honors College.
Graduate programmes
More than 70 post-baccalaureate programmes, offered in traditional classrooms, online, in accelerated summer sessions and as year-round professional development. They include, for example, a 12-credit online Artificial Intelligence Endorsement for educators.
Housing
Millersville's residence halls have suite-style rooms and living-learning communities that group students with shared academic and social interests. Halls have internet access and laundry, are supervised by professional staff and resident assistants, and are entered by electronic key card. A campus shuttle bus also serves nearby shopping centres.
