Monterey Peninsula College was founded in 1947. It is situated in Monterey, California and it is a public community college. The school serves a number of communities namely Marina, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Monterey, Del Rey Oaks, Carmel Valley, Carmel, Big Spur, Sand City, Seaside, and Presidio of Monterey Annex. The college is fully recognized and it offers more than 100 certificate and degree programs to the students so as to prepare them for transfers to four-year learning institutions. The school also offers career and technical training. It also allows learners to improve their skills in subjects such as reading, writing, English as a second language, and mathematics.
