North Country Community College (NCCC) is a public college in the Adirondack Park, New York State, United States, and part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Founded in 1967, it has campuses in Saranac Lake, Malone and Ticonderoga and also offers online learning. According to the college, more than 50,000 students have studied there.
NCCC offers more than two dozen transfer and career programmes. Students can earn an associate degree, prepare to transfer to a bachelor's degree, for example through the Liberal Arts programme, or train for a new career. Many programmes include applied learning in clinical settings, internships or the classroom. Through the College Bridge programme, high school juniors and seniors in Essex and Franklin counties can take college courses for credit.
Applications are made online and are free. The Saranac Lake campus has suite-style residence halls with single and double rooms in four-bedroom suites for full-time students. For the 2026-27 academic year, full-time tuition is US$5,630 for New York State residents and US$8,422 for non-residents, plus fees.

Fees
Tuition for the 2026-27 academic year (effective fall 2026):
- Full-time, New York State residents: US$5,630 per academic year (Certificate of Residence required)
- Full-time, non-residents: US$8,422 per academic year
- Part-time: US$235 (residents) or US$350 (non-residents) per credit hour
Fees are added per credit hour, for example a technology fee of US$30 (capped at US$360) and a student activity fee of US$10 (capped at US$120), plus a US$125 new student fee. The college states that all costs may change without notice.
Housing
NCCC has suite-style residence halls on its Saranac Lake campus only. Each four-bedroom suite has single or double bedrooms and a furnished common area, bathroom and kitchenette; Wi-Fi is free, several meal plans are available and residence life staff can be reached 24/7. Residents must be full-time students (at least 12 credits) and at least 18 years old by 31 December of the year they move in. Housing is limited and not guaranteed; new students indicate their interest on the college application.
