Oakwood British School is a newly established independent primary school on the outskirts of Benidorm, on the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante. It was founded by native British teachers and offers a British education to international pupils from age 6. Classes never have more than 20 children, and the staff includes qualified British and other native-speaker teachers.

Core lessons are taught in English and follow the outcomes of the British National Curriculum. Pupils are also taught Spanish and Valencian (Valenciano) in line with LOMLOE, the Spanish national curriculum. Lessons combine structured teaching, independent activities and practical work, and outdoor learning is part of daily lessons.

The school building has eight classrooms, each with direct access to the outside, a whiteboard and projector and its own reading area. There is also a large indoor hall used for sport and assemblies, a dining room with a catering service that can be booked by term or by day, and a playground with a grass football pitch, basketball net and adventure play area. Families start the admissions process by completing the school's initial enquiry form.
