Orange English College (OEC) is an English language school in the centre of Melbourne, at Level 6, 416-420 Collins Street, seven minutes from Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations and one minute from a free tram stop. It teaches ELICOS English courses for international students, face to face on campus for 20 hours a week.
- General English, beginner to advanced, 5 to 60 study weeks
- English for Academic Purposes (EAP), intermediate to advanced
- IELTS preparation, intermediate to advanced
New students can start any Monday, and the minimum age is 18. Classes may be timetabled in the morning, afternoon or evening, and classrooms are English-only zones. The EAP course prepares students for university or college with formal writing, presentations, research and critical thinking; the IELTS course covers all four test skills. Students take part in volunteer projects with the local community and receive a certificate when they complete their course. Applications are made online by choosing a course and start date and submitting the required documents.

General English has no English entry requirement: students take a test at enrolment and are placed in a suitable class. EAP and IELTS Preparation require an intermediate level of English, IELTS 4.0 or equivalent. Students must be at least 18 on the day of enrolment.
