The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru) is a Catholic university whose main campus is at Avenida Universitaria 1801 in San Miguel, Peru. It is governed by the University Assembly and the University Council, and the Church authorities are also part of its governance.
PUCP offers more than 50 undergraduate degree programmes across 13 schools (facultades), covering a wide range of fields:
- Engineering, including Civil, Biomedical, Computer and Mechatronics Engineering
- Law, Economics and International Relations
- Architecture, Art and Design, Music and Theatre
- Communication, Journalism and Audiovisual Communication
- Social sciences, humanities, Psychology and Education
- Gastronomy, Hotel Management and Tourism
Master's and doctoral programmes are run by the university's Graduate School (Escuela de Posgrado), which publishes its own admission calls. For undergraduates, the admission office provides information on admission routes, available places and costs. Students who need financial support can apply to more than 20 scholarship and financial aid programmes offered by PUCP and other institutions.
