Princeton Day School (PDS) is an independent PreK-12 school in Princeton, in the United States. It is organised in three divisions: the Lower School (PreK to grade 4), the Middle School (grades 5 to 8) and the Upper School (grades 9 to 12). The school describes its mission as cultivating intellectual vitality and strength of character within a community of compassion, shared responsibility and play.
Alongside the academic curriculum, PDS offers visual and performing arts and athletics. In the Middle School, the DaVinci Program gives students a weekly block of time for a non-traditional, ungraded class of their choice, with sample offerings such as 3-D printing, Lego robotics, mock trial, musical theatre and a personal finance lab. The school publishes yearly college matriculation lists; members of the Class of 2026 are going on to colleges and universities in the United States and abroad.
Prospective families can arrange a personal campus tour with the admissions team or a student guide, take a virtual tour, and find information on tuition and financial aid before applying.
