Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart is a private Catholic girls' school in Princeton, New Jersey, teaching from preschool to grade 12. Its mission is to educate young women for leadership and service within the Goals and Criteria of the Schools of the Sacred Heart, and it welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds. The school is accredited by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Its campus covers 55 wooded acres, 15 minutes from Princeton Junction station.

According to the school, the student-to-faculty ratio is 5:1 and 70% of faculty hold advanced degrees. The National Center for Girls' Leadership at Stuart runs a leadership curriculum from kindergarten to grade 12. Through the Sacred Heart network, every Upper School student can spend at least two weeks at a sister school abroad, in cities such as Lima, Sydney or Paris, and eighth graders can join a week-long exchange in North America. Applications for 2027-28 are open, with a deadline of 15 January 2027, and there is a separate route for international applicants. The school awards over $3 million in financial aid each year.

Fees
Tuition for the 2026-27 school year:
- Lower School (K-4): US$40,050
- Middle School (grades 5-8): US$49,250
- Upper School (grades 9-12): US$52,375
- Early School, age 4, full day: US$39,949
- Early School, age 3: from US$19,981 (half day, 3 days a week) to US$32,558 (full day, 5 days a week)
- Gap Year: US$30,000 (half year) or US$60,000 (full year)
Tuition includes lunch, academic and learning support for eligible students, Parent Association dues, Middle School aftercare and some field trips. Books, uniforms, personal devices and optional activities may cost extra. Fees for the youngest children (age 1-2) depend on days and programme length.

Admission for the 2027-28 school year:
- Early application deadline: 4 December 2026 (notification 18 December 2026)
- Application deadline: 15 January 2027
- Decision notification: 5 March 2027
- Deposit due: 9 April 2027
Applications for 2026-27 are still accepted on a rolling basis, depending on places in each grade.
Scholarships and financial aid
Stuart awards over US$3 million in financial aid each year and aims to make its education accessible to families who cannot pay full tuition. The NCGLS Leadership Scholarship gives US$5,000 a year to selected incoming and rising 9th-grade students; all students are considered automatically, without an application. The Stuart Experience programme gives further help so that all students can join service, technology and academic activities such as AP exams and books.
