Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU) is a Christian university of the Church of the Nazarene in Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). It was launched in 2010 by bringing together three colleges: the Nazarene College of Nursing, Nazarene Teacher Training and the Nazarene College of Theology. The university has two campuses, in Manzini and Siteki; the Manzini campus houses the administration and the faculties of Health Sciences and Education. SANU is recognised by the Ministry of Education and Training, and its professional courses are recognised by bodies such as the Swaziland Nurses Council and the Teachers' Service Commission.
- Faculty of Health Sciences: nursing science, midwifery, nursing anaesthesia and medical laboratory sciences
- Faculty of Education: early childhood care and development, special and inclusive education, humanities and sciences
- Faculty of Theology: Bachelor of Theology, offered in affiliation with the University of Swaziland since 2006
- Business management and entrepreneurship
- Certificate and diploma programmes and continuing education
The Faculty of Health Sciences traces its history to the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital, founded by Dr David Hynd in 1927. According to the university, about 99% of admitted students receive funding or a government scholarship. Applications for the 2026-27 academic year are open.
