University of Eswatini

The University of Eswatini (UNESWA) is a public university in Eswatini with three campuses: Kwaluseni, Luyengo and Mbabane. Its largest campus is in Matsapha, the industrial hub at the centre of the country. Teaching is organised in eight faculties and the Institute of Distance Education (IDE):

At undergraduate level, UNESWA offers certificate, diploma and degree programmes; at graduate level it offers master's and PhD programmes. Distance education is run by the IDE, and the university uses a Moodle e-learning platform. According to the university, its degrees are internationally recognised, and its community includes students and staff from around the world; separate fees apply to international students.

Students can apply for funding such as the Eswatini Government Tertiary Education Scholarship and scholarships from the UNESWA Foundation, but the university itself offers no bursaries. An offer of admission is valid only for the academic year for which it is made.
