Colegio Delibes is a private school of Spanish for foreigners in Salamanca. It opened in 1997 on Avenida de Italia and, at the end of 2018, moved to its own restored building on Plaza Julián Sánchez "El Charro", close to the Plaza Mayor. All classrooms have air conditioning and interactive whiteboards, and the building also has a cooking classroom, a library and a computer room. The school is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, is a member of FEDELE and AEECYL, and has been an official SIELE exam centre since 2024. According to the school, more than 3,000 students attend each year.

Classes run all year in ten levels from A1 to C2; each level has 80 hours of lessons over four weeks, with a maximum of twelve students per class and teachers with degrees in philology. Students can choose among fourteen course types and combine several:

• Spanish Language, alone or with Culture, Literature, Conversation, Translation or Tourism
• Super Intensive Spanish and Business Spanish
• DELE preparation
• Small-group (six students) and individual classes
• Course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language
• Courses for groups and an academic year programme

Tutorials and weekly lectures are free. The school manages five types of accommodation: host families, student residences, shared flats, private studios (minimum four weeks) and hotels or hostels.

Ten levels from A1 to C2; each level has 80 hours of lessons over four weeks. Classes have a maximum of twelve students, lessons last 55 minutes, and two or more courses can be combined. Fourteen course types:

• A. Spanish Language: two hours of grammar and two of conversation a day
• B-F. Spanish Language plus a fifth daily hour of Culture, Literature, Conversation, Translation or Tourism
• G. Super Intensive Spanish Language
• H. Business Spanish
• I. DELE preparation
• J. Group 6 (maximum six students) and K. Individual classes
• M. Course for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language
• N. Courses for groups and Y. Academic Year

Free individual tutorials help students who fall behind. A test on the last Thursday of each month and continuous assessment lead to a school diploma for students who complete at least one full level.

Colegio Delibes provides activities free of charge: guided tours, lectures about Spain (its regions, art, history, and traditions), films in Spanish, sports, board games and parties.
