Queen's University is a public research university, located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The university offers academic degrees at various levels and across a broad subject range, with over 300 degree programs available. Queen's also makes available an in-sessional English language program to students, whose first language is not English. The program provides free English language classes, specifically designed for international students with the purpose of helping them improve their English and thus successfully completing the course they have enrolled on. The program is not able to serve students at advanced levels of English.
