UAB Idiomes (Idiomes UAB) is the language school of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). It serves the university community, professionals and anyone who wants to certify a language level, and it has two centres, one in Barcelona city and one on the UAB campus. Its offer includes regular and tailor-made courses, university certification, official exams and specialisation courses, with levels referenced to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
- English, Spanish and French in Barcelona city
- German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Occitan and Catalan Sign Language on the campus
- Spanish for foreigners: regular courses, tailor-made programmes and DELE exams
- Courses for seniors (55+) in English and French, in small groups
- Language training for companies and institutions
Level tests on the campus are free. UAB students going abroad on a mobility programme can take free 15-hour language workshops in English, German, French or Italian before they leave. Enrolment for the 2026-27 academic year opened on 1 July through the online portal Les meves gestions. The school answers enquiries in person on weekdays and by phone on 93 581 13 25.
