The Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA) is a Brazilian federal university in the state of Pará. Its research includes scientific innovation in the Amazon, the theme of the 37th edition of its undergraduate research seminar. According to the university's own figures, it has 57,555 students, 3,016 teaching staff, 159 undergraduate courses, 103 master's programmes, more than 1,000 research groups and 904 extension programmes and projects.

Undergraduate courses lead to a bachelor's degree (bacharelado), a teaching degree (licenciatura) or a technology degree (tecnológico), and some are offered by distance learning. Besides the main campus, faculties operate in other towns of the state, such as Altamira and Cametá. The university also has a music school (Emufpa) and an international office, UFPA Internacional.

Places on undergraduate courses are filled through the UFPA Processo Seletivo; the call for 2027 entry has been published. Successful candidates then complete a document check (habilitação) before enrolment. Part of the places is reserved under affirmative-action quotas for Black and Indigenous students and for students with disabilities, each verified by a committee. Once enrolled, students manage their courses through the SIGAA online system.
