The Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) is a private Catholic university in Venezuela, with campuses including Montalbán and Guayana. It has been accredited by France's High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres) for its strategic management, research policy and education and student life. According to the QS 2027 Latin America ranking, it is the only private Venezuelan university in the region's top 100.
UCAB's undergraduate programmes cover the following areas:

- Economic and Social Sciences
- Law
- Engineering
- Theology
Since September 2025 it has also offered five higher technical programmes (Técnico Superior Universitario, TSU) at Montalbán and Guayana. Students can add minors, and the university runs postgraduate programmes, both on campus and online, that are open to international students, as well as an international academic exchange programme. Admission to undergraduate study includes a knowledge test, and the university offers financial aid and scholarships. According to the UI GreenMetric 2026 ranking, the Montalbán campus is the most environmentally sustainable campus in Venezuela for the third year running.

Admission
Undergraduate admission at UCAB follows these steps:
- Online pre-registration, after creating a user account with the registry office (Secretaría)
- Payment of the pre-registration fee
- Submission of documents, in person or online
- Knowledge test (Prueba de Conocimientos)
- Admission results
- Enrolment, for admitted students, in the period set by the registry office
