The Université de Toulon (University of Toulon) is a multidisciplinary university in the Var department of France, created in 1968. It has three campuses, in La Garde, Toulon and Draguignan, about 11,300 students and 14 research laboratories, and its research focuses on marine sciences and Mediterranean societies. The university does not teach health subjects.

It offers around 100 courses, from the BUT (university technology diploma) to bachelor's (licence), master's and doctoral programmes, in five fields:

  • Arts, humanities and languages
  • Law, economics and management
  • Humanities and social sciences
  • Science and technology
  • Sports science and technology

All its degrees are state-recognised, and many can be taken as work-study (alternance) programmes. The university highlights personalised support, its links with the regional economy and its human scale. Its libraries run language resource centres open to all students, and it supports high-level student athletes. A new building for its Institute of Technology (IUT) opened on the La Garde campus in September 2025.
