The Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) is one of the ten institutions of the Université du Québec network, based in Rouyn-Noranda in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec, with further campuses and centres such as Val-d'Or and Mont-Laurier. It has more than 7,000 students in over 183 undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programmes, and also offers distance learning and continuing education.

- Health and art therapy
- Management
- Indigenous studies
According to the university, hundreds of international students choose UQAT each year, especially for creation and new media, mining and groundwater, forestry and engineering. Most programmes are taught in French; programmes in English are offered for Indigenous students, and UQAT has developed specific programmes for Inuit and First Nations students at its Val-d'Or campus. The UQAT International office handles international partnerships and outgoing student mobility, and students receive more than CA$1 million in scholarships each year.
