The Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) is a French public university (EPSCP) which, since 2025, has the status of grand établissement. It presents itself as the first "polytechnic" university in France, organised around two poles: science and technology on one side and the humanities on the other, with teaching and research also covering the arts and social sciences. It has about 14,500 students and 160 programmes on five campuses: Valenciennes Mont Houy (in Aulnoy-lez-Valenciennes), Valenciennes Les Tertiales-Ronzier, Arenberg, Cambrai and Maubeuge.

UPHF offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in many fields and aims to let each student build a tailored curriculum. Research is carried out in four main laboratories, including two CNRS joint units. The university is a member of EUNICE, an alliance of ten European higher education institutions, and has an international relations office; its website is also available in English and Spanish.

Applications go through national platforms (Parcoursup, Mon Master, eCandidat) or the foreign student route. Students can find housing through CROUS residences and the university's own housing platform.
