The University of Novi Sad (Univerzitet u Novom Sadu, UNS) is a university in Novi Sad, in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Serbia. It was established in 1960 by a law of the National Assembly of Serbia that brought together existing faculties, although the region's higher education traditions go back to around 1740. Today it has more than 50,000 students and 5,000 staff in 14 faculties and three institutes, located in Novi Sad, Sombor, Subotica and Zrenjanin.

UNS offers about 350 study programmes, including programmes taught in English and joint programmes. It holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2021-2027, has around 120 partner institutions in Erasmus+ mobility and belongs to the EUGLOH European University alliance. International applicants apply directly to the faculty concerned; foreign secondary school certificates must first be recognised, and undergraduate admission also requires an entrance exam. Services include a Students' Centre, career counselling and support for students with disabilities.
