Westcliff University is a private university with its main campus in Irvine, California, and further locations in Corona, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, San Francisco and Toronto, as well as affiliated institutions in Nepal (King's College and Presidential Graduate School). It received its initial approval from California's Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education in 1993 and is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC); its business degrees are also accredited by ACBSP.
The university is organised into a College of Business, College of Education, College of Technology & Engineering, Western State College of Law, College of Nursing and Westcliff University Canada. It offers undergraduate and graduate certificates and degrees, including a Bachelor of Business Administration taught online or in hybrid format, master's and doctoral programmes for working professionals, and an MBA with a consulting capstone. According to the university, it has more than 9,000 students from over 110 countries and a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
Students can study online from their home country or on campus in Southern California. Westcliff does not run its own residences: its housing guide lists unaffiliated options, including the Collegiate Housing Service (11-month leases near campus, open to international students) and homestays.

Undergraduate degrees and certificates in business, technology, nursing and education. The Bachelor of Business Administration (online or hybrid) requires 120 credit hours, covers finance, accounting, marketing, operations, sales and information technology, allows a 15-credit concentration or 30-credit dual concentration, and includes a required Practical Learning Experience.
For the Bachelor of Business Administration, applicants need a high school diploma with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (or a recognised equivalent such as GED), or a high school diploma plus an associate degree or 24 college credits with a 2.0 GPA, or approval by the Admissions Committee. Westcliff has no university-run housing; its Student Housing Resource Guide lists unaffiliated options. The Collegiate Housing Service offers rooms near campus with other Westcliff students on 11-month leases, open to domestic and international students. Other options include roommate-matching groups, homestays and private apartments in Orange County and the Los Angeles area. The guide warns students to watch for housing scams.
