AmeriSpan Study Abroad was founded in 1993, when it first offered study abroad opportunities in three Spanish schools in Latin America. Currently, the organization has made available the opportunity for students to choose from over 15 languages in more than 45 countries in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and Africa. Their offer includes worldwide summer camps and junior immersion programs for teenagers, as well as "Language and Fun" programs for those interested in adding classes in cooking, art, sailing, dance, history, culture and more to their language immersion programs. AmeriSpan Study Abroad is a constantly evolving organization, and has also introduced specialized programs in healthcare, education, academic, volunteer and internships as well as other professional development areas. The organization offers the SALUD Medical Spanish program. Finally, they have received the the Best Agency North America award.
