Bergen Community College is a two-year community college in Paramus, New Jersey, a few minutes from New York City. It was established by Bergen County in 1963 and opened in 1968, and describes itself as the largest community college in the State of New Jersey. Classes take place at three locations: the main campus in Paramus, Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst, and the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack.
The college offers associate degree and certificate programmes in the liberal arts, sciences and technical fields, along with online programmes, continuing education and non-credit courses. Under New Jersey's Lampitt Bill, credits earned at the college can be transferred to four-year institutions in the state. Facilities include the STEM Student Research Center, the Health Professions Integrated Teaching Center and the Innovation Center, and students have access to study abroad programmes, including a partnership with Southport College in England.
Bergen is a federally designated Hispanic Serving Institution and runs Division III athletics. Students on non-immigrant visas pay out-of-county tuition. Applications for general and Health Professions programmes are made online.

Fees
Tuition and fees for the 2026-27 academic year (Fall 2026 to Summer 2027) are charged per credit. Tuition is US$169.45 per credit for Bergen County residents, US$348.05 for out-of-county students and students on non-immigrant visas, and US$366.10 for out-of-state students.
Per-credit fees of US$16.45 (technology), US$2.30 (security) and US$30.60 (general) are added, plus a registration fee of US$17.55 per semester. Some courses carry additional course fees.
