Boston University Study Abroad (formerly International Programs) is a division of the Boston University Office of Global Programs. It was created with the goal to create opportunities for undergraduate students to study abroad all over the world. The Study Abroad division makes available a wealth of academic and internship programs in more than 30 cities on six continents. Areas of study of the courses include languages, liberal arts, fine arts, science, business, engineering, or students can pursue an internship. Boston University is especially proud of the fact that it was one of the first universities in the United States to send students abroad, and the first university to offer the study abroad internship on several continents.
