Language school in Cuenca, Ecuador

CEDEI (Fundación Centro de Estudios Interamericanos) is a non-profit foundation in Cuenca, Ecuador, founded in 1992 by a group of university professors from the United States, Peru and Ecuador. Its main aim is to promote mutual understanding between the peoples and countries of the Americas through academic and cultural exchange and community service. Its main centre is at Gran Colombia 11-02 y General Torres, with a second branch at 3 Puentes.

Through its International Programs, CEDEI offers academic and cultural programmes for groups from other countries, especially the United States, under agreements with foreign universities, as well as Spanish classes for foreigners according to their level. The international programmes team includes a director, an academic coordinator and a host family coordinator.

CEDEI also runs an English programme for local learners: classes for children from age 8, teenagers and adults, in person in Cuenca and online, taught by certified teachers from different countries.
