Clark College came into existence in 1933 by a group of visionary educators, who had a dream to provide higher education opportunities for South West Washington during the great depression. Clark College promotes highest standards of education and was granted initial endorsement in 1937 from five professors from University of Washington, followed by an accreditation from North West Commission on colleges and universities in 1948. Through the passage of time it has still maintained its standing even till today. The Clark College 2009-2014 Strategic Plan enables a framework for aiding students’ success through focus on learning, thoughtful planning and continuous assessment.
