Dartmouth College is a university in Hanover, New Hampshire, in the United States, founded in 1769. It has more than 4,000 undergraduates and a 269-acre main campus in the Upper Connecticut River Valley. Its core is a liberal arts college with over 40 departments and programmes, where students explore the arts and sciences before declaring or designing their major.

Graduate offerings include fully online and hybrid master's programmes and joint and dual degrees between the schools. Dartmouth states that it admits students regardless of their financial means, and it has a separate admissions route for international students.

Dartmouth has committed $500 million to adding at least 1,000 beds for students, faculty and staff within ten years; Russo Hall, opened in 2026, offers apartment-style housing for juniors and seniors.
