Guadalajara Language Center

Guadalajara Language Center (GLC) is a Spanish language school in Tlaquepaque, in the Guadalajara area of Jalisco, Mexico, within walking distance of the town's pedestrian street Calle de la Independencia. It offers Spanish immersion courses combined with the option of living with a Mexican family. Teaching follows a conversational and interactive approach in which grammar is learned in context, with qualified native-speaker teachers.

Group courses start any Monday, with a regular schedule of two hours a day or an intensive schedule of four hours a day, Monday to Friday. Friday cultural outings and other activities such as cooking classes and a tequila tour help students practise Spanish. New students take an assessment test, and a deposit of US$100 guarantees a place on the course. The school arranges homestays, which are limited, as well as rooms and apartments in Tlaquepaque.
