Queen's University

Queen's University is a research university in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, established in 1841. It is a member of the U15 group of Canadian research universities, and it also runs Bader College, a campus at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, United Kingdom. Students come from more than 120 countries. According to the university, it is placed in the top 180 in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

Queen's offers undergraduate and graduate programmes, as well as postdoctoral fellowships, in more than 235 academic areas across 53 departments. Its offer includes:

  • Bachelor's (undergraduate) programmes
  • Master's and doctoral programmes
  • Business programmes at the Smith School of Business
  • Postgraduate medical education (residency)
  • Executive education and professional certificates, some in Toronto or online
  • Online continuing education for teachers

Undergraduate applicants are handled by Undergraduate Admission and graduate applicants by the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs; the admission site has a tuition and fees calculator. Students can live in Queen's residences, and the university also manages off-campus rental housing (Queen's Community Housing) and has an off-campus living advisor.
