RMIT University Vietnam is the Vietnamese branch of RMIT University, an Australian university of technology, design and enterprise based in Melbourne. It was founded in 2000 and, according to the university, was the first fully foreign-owned international university in Vietnam. Graduates receive their degree from RMIT University in Melbourne. The main campus is in Saigon South, Ho Chi Minh City, with a second campus in Hanoi and a centre in Da Nang.
Teaching covers business, technology, communication, design, fashion and languages, organised in three schools: The Business School, the School of Communication & Design and the School of Science, Engineering & Technology. Study options include:

- Undergraduate programmes
- Graduate certificates and master's programmes, such as the Master of Business Administration
- PhD programmes
- English courses, including English for University, an IELTS pathway and Corporate English
The academic year has three semesters, with intakes in February/March, June/July and October. International students can enrol full time or join a one-semester Study Abroad programme of four courses. Medical insurance is compulsory for international students, and a residential support team helps students from outside the city or abroad to find accommodation.

Business School master's programmes consist of 16 courses; students with a bachelor's degree or higher in business or a related field, completed within the last 10 years, need to complete only 12.
Fees
Tuition fees for new students enrolling in 2026, in Vietnamese dong (VND); fees are invoiced by semester, course by course:
- Foundation Studies: VND 316,992,000 for the whole programme
- Business (undergraduate): about VND 375,840,000 per year (indicative, average study load)
- Master of Business Administration: VND 895,872,000 (standard 16 courses)
- Study Abroad, one semester: VND 164,000,000 (undergraduate, 4 courses) or VND 219,000,000 (postgraduate, 4 courses), with 10% off for partner universities
- Medical insurance for international students: VND 7,400,000 per semester
