Universidad de Cádiz, Cursos de Español para Extranjeros

The Centro Superior de Lenguas Modernas (CSLM) is the modern languages centre of the Universidad de Cádiz, located in the city of Cádiz. It teaches Spanish as a foreign language in different formats and at different levels, with a communicative approach. All programmes follow the standards of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The main Spanish options for international students are:

• Academic Year Spanish Programme
• International programmes designed for partner universities and institutions
• Courses combined with extracurricular activities such as visits, trips, talks, workshops, exchanges and volunteering

The CSLM has agreements with many universities that send their students to Cádiz to learn Spanish, among them Pennsylvania State University, the University of Georgia, the University of Hong Kong and Saarland University. For all courses, recognition of ECTS credits has been requested and is pending approval by the university. The centre also offers three-month courses in other languages, such as English, French and Italian, on site and online, and tailor-made training for university groups and other institutions. Erasmus students at the Universidad de Cádiz pay a reduced fee for the three-month Spanish course. The centre is at Calle Ancha 10 in Cádiz.
