The courses of Spanish as a Foreign Language at the University of Zaragoza take place either in Zaragoza (capital of Aragon), or in the city of Jaca (Huesca) during the summer; this is a resort, located in the Pyrenees, less than two hours from the capital. The University of Zaragoza is known to be one of world’s oldest universities (founded in 1542), and is a pioneer in teaching Spanish to foreigners - since 1927. The school has agreements with various public and private institutions worldwide, works directly with various government agencies, and has an excellent international recognition. This is obvious through the numerous programs and agreements in which it participates.
