The Accra Polytechnic is a public tertiary educational institution based in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Founded in 1949, the school has been a real contribution to the local society. The Polytechnic is a co-educational centre, providing numerous academic programs that lead to the award of a Higher National Diploma certificate. It has nine sister institutions in all the other nine regions of Ghana. Some of the programs made available at Accra include Science Laboratory Technology (SLT1, Statistics (MAS1), Hotel Catering and Institutional Management (HOT1), Fashion Designing And Textiles (FAS1), Secretaryship and Management Studies (SEC1), Bilingual Secretaryship (BIS1), Purchasing and Supply (PS1), Accountancy (AC1), and others.
