Skydive Madrid, Aerolibre Madrid, Escuela de Paracaidismo

Vocational school in Madrid, Spain

Skydive Madrid is a skydiving school (escuela de paracaidismo) operated by the sports club Club Deportivo Elemental Skydive Madrid. It operates from two airfields on the A-4 motorway: Ocaña Airport (exit 62) and Lillo Airport in the province of Toledo (exit 81). The website is in Spanish and English.

  • Tandem jumps with an instructor, for people who are not skydivers
  • AFF (accelerated free fall) course for beginners, with seven levels
  • A licence course, which allows jumping with other skydivers
  • Coaching in canopy control, freefly and wingsuit

The AFF course needs no previous experience. After a day of theory, students make seven jumps with about 50 seconds of free fall each: two instructors jump with them on the first three, and one instructor on the last four, after which students can jump on their own. The A licence course requires 10 jumps and a completed AFF course. AFF students must be over 16 (minors need authorisation from a parent or legal guardian), provide a basic medical certificate as required by the Royal Spanish Aeronautical Federation, and weigh less than 100 kg. A Skydiver House at Lillo Aerodrome offers overnight stays for jumpers.
