Alambrado is a non-profit organization established in 1997. Its aim is to promote dance in all its forms by holding seminars, courses, performances, meetings and cultural exchanges. Alambrado cooperates with cultural and youth organizations such as Commission of the City of Florence, the Lega Danza UISP and ProDanzaItalia/USA of New York. Alambrado organizes a summer dance workshop in Florence, Italy, which lasts three weeks and includes 5 classes of dancing per day. Students have the chance to enhance their dance technique, while also discovering the cultural beauties of Italy. The organization has the tradition of organizing this event in partnership with USA Dance Movement of New York, and has managed to attract dancers from Texas, Michigan, Oregon, Florida, Arkansas, Virginia, California, New Jersey, Massachussets, and more.
