Aziz Escuela Taller de Joyeria

Aziz Escuela Taller de Joyería (Aziz Group Joyería) is a jewellery-making school and workshop in Barcelona, at C/ Gayare 49. Its teacher, Aziz, has been teaching jewellery techniques for more than 25 years. Courses are practical and open to complete beginners: the traditional jewellery course teaches students step by step to measure and use material, saw and file, set stones, solder and polish while creating their own designs.

Intensive courses are offered in morning or afternoon sessions and are limited to a small number of places (seven in the lost-wax course); tools and materials are included except silver and stones. In the "create your own jewel" workshop, participants carve a piece by hand in wax, which is then cast in brass or sterling silver. The school also runs a shop selling jewellery tools, kits and materials.
