BLS (B.L.S.) is a school of French as a foreign language in south-west France, with two schools in the Aquitaine region: one in Bordeaux, at 42 rue Lafaurie de Monbadon, and one in Biarritz. Alongside general French courses, it combines language learning with leisure activities and with professional fields.
- General French: intensive courses (Intensif 20, 26 and 30) and private lessons, on their own or added to an intensive course
- French combined with surfing, golf or wine
- French for specific purposes: business, law, medicine and diplomacy
- Exam preparation: A-level French and the TEF
- A juniors programme and stays for school groups
Outside class, the school organises cultural activities. These include a weekly screening of French films, language tandems for meeting new people and practising French, and excursions such as a private visit to Château La Confession in Saint-Emilion, on the wine route from Bordeaux.
