Barcelona Montessori School (BMS) is a private Montessori school in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, Barcelona, which opened in September 2020 as a British school recognised by the Catalan Department of Education. It grew out of Nido Montessori Barcelona, a small nursery opened in 2015. Today it has around 200 students of more than 40 nationalities on two campuses: Carrer Pomaret 25, surrounded by a 6,000 m² heritage garden, and Carrer de l'Esperança 13.

English is the shared language of the school, and Spanish and Catalan are taught as second languages. Children are grouped by Montessori stage:

  • Nido (from 12 months)
  • Infant Community (18 months to 3 years)
  • Children's House (3 to 6 years)
  • Primary (6 to 12 years)
  • Secondary or Adolescent Programme (from 12; opened in September 2025)

The Secondary programme is growing year by year up to age 18 and includes work in the school garden, learning at a farm in Alella, sport at an external facility and the Montessori Model United Nations. Meals are cooked daily in the school's own kitchen. Families start with an interest form and are then invited to an information session and a campus visit.
