Beijing International Chinese College (BICC) is a Mandarin Chinese school in Beijing, China, founded in 2005 and approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. Besides teaching Chinese to international students, it trains teachers of Chinese as a foreign language. BICC has three campuses in different areas of Beijing: Sanlitun, Maquanying and Maizidian.

Courses are for beginner, intermediate and advanced students aged over 18:

  • Regular group classes of 3 to 8 students, starting at the beginning of each month
  • Intensive Chinese, 20 lessons per week
  • HSK exam preparation
  • Business Chinese
  • One-to-one (VIP) lessons and online classes
  • Summer and winter camps

For qualified students on its international student programme, which lasts from one month to one year, BICC applies for the study visa. The school also offers accommodation in homestays or its dormitory, insurance and monthly cultural classes. Prospective students can attend a free trial group class at the Maquanying campus.

Programmes

For beginner, intermediate and advanced students over 18.

Admission

Students must be over 18. To enrol at BICC, applicants:

  • fill in the information form for international students
  • take a Chinese level test or a trial class
  • confirm the class times and receive an acceptance letter from BICC
  • pay the course fees and sign the school management note

Housing

BICC offers several accommodation options close to the school, including homestays in Beijing and the Maquanying dormitory, located directly in front of the Maquanying campus. Prices depend on the type of accommodation and the length of stay.
