Bocconi University (Università Bocconi) is a university in Milan, Italy, established in 1902, with an urban campus in downtown Milan. It has about 15,000 students, including 3,700 international students from 124 nationalities, and 400 core faculty. Its teaching and research cover economics, management, finance, legal studies, political science, and data and computer science, with a growing focus on artificial intelligence. Programmes are taught in English or Italian, depending on the course.

Bocconi has more than 280 partner schools. The campus includes a sports centre, a large park and a new residence hall, and the university offers about 2,800 beds for students. According to the university, one in three students receives funding, with €55 million invested. Applications from international students for MSc and MA programmes starting in the 2027-28 academic year are open.

Bocconi's bachelor's programmes last three years and cover economics, management, finance, political science, data science, artificial intelligence and law, taught in English or Italian. Examples:

Tuition and fees for students starting in the 2026-27 academic year:

• Bachelor of Science or Law programme, first year: €17,000 per year
• Master of Science or Law programme, first year: €18,550 per year

Partial tuition waivers of 20% to 80% reduce the bachelor's fee to between €13,600 and €3,400. First-year fees are paid in instalments (adjustment by 15 October 2026, then 29 January and 30 April 2027). Additional fees, such as the graduation fee, are charged separately.

• Bachelor's programmes: three years
• Law programme: five years
• University master's programmes (master universitari): one year, 400-500 teaching hours and 60-72 credits

According to the university, one in three Bocconi students receives funding, with €55 million invested through the Bocconi4Access to Education programme. Support includes partial tuition waivers of 20% to 80%, reduced fees for grant holders and housing that is free of charge or below market rates, including places under the Lombardy Region right-to-study scheme (ISEEU/ISPEU).

Bocconi offers about 2,800 beds for students. Seven university-owned residences (Bligny, Bocconi, Castiglioni, Dubini, Isonzo, Javotte and Spadolini) house up to 1,700 students; they have common areas, kitchens and study rooms and are within a 10-15 minute walk of the classrooms. From 2026 about 700 beds in single and double rooms at the former Olympic Village are reserved mainly for first-year students, and the partner residence Aparto Giovenale is mainly for exchange students. Rates range from full rate to reduced and needs-based rates, including free places.
