British School of Vila-real (BSVR) is a British international school in Vila-real (Castellón province), on the road from Vila-real to Burriana. It belongs to the International Schools Partnership (ISP) group and has students of more than 37 nationalities.
BSVR teaches the British National Curriculum enriched by the Spanish curriculum, leading to dual qualifications:
- Early Years (ages 2 to 5): Early Years Foundation Stage
- Primary (ages 6 to 11)
- Secondary (ages 12 to 16): IGCSE preparation
- Sixth Form (ages 16 to 18): A Levels
In Primary, pupils build confidence in English, Spanish, Valencian and additional languages; French, German and Chinese are among the languages students take. Lunch and before-school care from 7:00 are included in the fees, and a school bus service is available. Admission includes a first meeting with the admissions director, a school tour and, from Primary, a trial day. After enrolment the school issues an official enrolment certificate, which international families can use for visa applications.
