Centro Catalina is a Spanish language school for foreigners in Colombia, with schools in Cartagena on the Caribbean coast and in Medellín in the Andes. It was founded in 2010 by Swiss-Colombian founders and received IALC accreditation in 2017. In Cartagena the school is in the colonial historic centre, in the San Diego area, with 6 classrooms, a small cafeteria and a courtyard; in Medellín it is in El Poblado.

Courses start every Monday at all levels from A1 to C2 and last from one week to one year; one lesson is 50 minutes, and adult students are 18 or over. Courses include materials, tutoring, weekly cultural activities and a study certificate. The school arranges accommodation, recommending homestays with Colombian families, and also offers shared student apartments in Cartagena, a student residence in Medellín and airport transfers.

Centro Catalina arranges accommodation for its students and recommends living with a Colombian host family; the school visits all its families personally. Options:

• Homestay with breakfast, with optional dinner and private bathroom
• Shared two-bedroom student apartment in Cartagena with sea views and a pool, 15-20 minutes' walk from the school
• Student residence in Medellín with shared kitchen, free WiFi and breakfast
• Shared house in Cartagena's historic centre with ensuite rooms
• Private apartments in the Marbella area of Cartagena and a partner boutique hotel in the historic centre
