The Centro de Lenguas Modernas (CLM) of the Universidad de Granada (UGR) teaches Spanish to foreign students and offers courses in other modern languages. It is based at Placeta del Hospicio Viejo in Granada and is operated by Formación y Gestión de Granada SLMP.

The CLM also teaches English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Arabic and Turkish, and runs courses and exams for certificates such as TOEFL, Cambridge, PLIDA, TCF and its own B1-B2 accreditation. Students must be at least 16 and have completed secondary-level studies. Enrolment is online, with payment by credit card, and every student takes a compulsory placement test. Only students who attend at least 80% of the course hours may sit the final exams. Grades follow a scale recommended by the University of Granada, with US equivalents, but recognition of credits depends on the student's own university. The centre has an accommodation service and organises cultural and sports activities for its students.

Admission
Students must be at least 16 years old and have completed secondary-level studies. Registration is online, with payment by credit card, and the full course price must be paid before the placement test. Places are limited and allocated in order of registration; if places remain, students can enrol until the day before the placement test. The placement test is compulsory, and courses that require prior knowledge can only be taken after passing it. After the results, students have two days to upload their passport and a photograph.
