Escuela Montalbán is a Spanish language school in Granada, Andalusia, that has offered Spanish courses for adults and teenagers since 1986. It has been accredited by the Instituto Cervantes since 2002 and is a member of Tandem Language Schools, a Spanish-German network with schools in Spain, Germany and Chile. The school occupies an Andalusian-style building with a courtyard, in a quiet location about ten minutes from the city centre, and states that it teaches around 1,000 students a year.
Courses run all year at six levels (A1 to C2), start every Monday and last from 1 to 50 weeks. Groups have at most ten students, classes are taught entirely in Spanish and there are four, five or six 45-minute lessons a day.

- Individual courses and Spanish for specific purposes (business, tourism)
- DELE and SIELE exam preparation at an official exam centre
- Intensive 20 combined with flamenco, salsa, yoga, cooking or hiking
- Erasmus+ funded teacher training and programmes for secondary school groups

Students can stay with a host family, in shared school flats, in self-catering apartments, in a hotel or hostel, or at a teacher's home. A daily cultural programme includes weekend trips to Seville and Cordoba.

Prices 2026 (selection):
- Intensive 20: €180 for 1 week, €340 for 2 weeks, €660 for 4 weeks, €1,200 for 8 weeks; €150 per additional week
- Intensive 20 with Type D study visa: €1,800 for 12 weeks, €2,400 for 16 weeks; plus €200 administration costs
- Individual course: €600 per week for 20 private lessons
Enrolment fee: €50.
Duration
Courses start every Monday and last from 1 to 50 weeks. Study-visa courses (Type D) run from 12 to 48 weeks, Intensive 30 with ECTS credits lasts 2 or 4 weeks, and DELE preparation is offered as 2-, 4- or 8-week courses.
