The Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias (CSMC) is the public higher music conservatory of the Canary Islands. It depends on the Government of the Canary Islands and has two sites, in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. This profile covers the Gran Canaria site in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, housed since 1995 in a building in the historic Triana-Vegueta district (C/ San Francisco). Its roots go back to the Sociedad Filarmónica de Las Palmas, founded in 1845, and the regional government took over the conservatory in 1998.

The conservatory awards the official Título Superior de Música (Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Música, EQF level 6), a four-year programme of 240 ECTS that includes work placements and a final project. Specialities:
