The Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño Gran Canaria (EASD Gran Canaria) is a public school of art and design in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Avenida de Canarias opposite the San Cristóbal fishing quarter. It has about 1,000 students and 130 teachers and has been teaching on the island for 50 years. Besides the arts track of the Bachillerato and vocational art and design courses, it offers the official Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Diseño, equivalent to a university bachelor's degree, in three specialities:

  • Interior Design
  • Fashion Design
  • Graphic Design

All specialities include two semester courses of English and 350 hours of work placements; students can also take official B1 or B2 English certification exams at the school. The degree gives access to master's and doctoral studies, and students can apply for an Erasmus+ stay in another European country.

The four-storey building has specialised workshops for ceramics, audiovisual media, wood, printmaking, metal, fashion, photography, prototyping and stone. Admission requires the Bachillerato or an equivalent qualification and a pass in a specific entrance test.
