The Conservatorio Superior de Música Óscar Esplá de Alicante (CSMA) is a higher music conservatory in Alicante, located at Calle Catedrático Jaume Mas i Porcel 2. It awards the Grado en Enseñanzas Artísticas Superiores de Música and also offers the Máster en Interpretación e Investigación de la Música.
The degree covers five specialities:

- Conducting (Dirección)
- Music pedagogy (Pedagogía)
- Musicology (Musicología)
- Performance (Interpretación): piano, voice, guitar and orchestral instruments
Orchestral instruments include clarinet, double bass, bassoon, flute, oboe, percussion, saxophone, trombone, horn, trumpet, tuba, viola, violin and cello. Artistic and teaching placements take place with partner organisations. The master's degree has 60 ECTS credits and lasts one academic year.
Admission to the degree requires the Bachillerato or an equivalent qualification, or the university entrance exam for people over 25, and passing a specific entrance exam (prueba específica de acceso), held in June and September. Foreign students must have their qualifications recognised (homologación) by the Spanish Ministry of Education.

Graduate programmes
Máster en Interpretación e Investigación de la Música: 60 ECTS credits over one academic year of 37.5 weeks. The programme includes external placements (prácticas externas) with partner organisations.
Admission
- Bachillerato, a higher arts qualification, a university degree, Técnico Superior or an equivalent recognised qualification, or the university entrance exam for people over 25
- Passing the specific entrance exam (prueba específica de acceso) for the chosen speciality, held in June and September
- Foreign qualifications must be recognised (homologación) by the Spanish Ministry of Education
For Performance, the exam includes a 30-minute programme in at least three styles, an analysis exercise and sight-reading. Holders of the Título Profesional de Música may count their average mark as 50% of the exam grade. A separate exam exists for applicants without academic requirements.
