Cursos Internacionales de la Universidad de Salamanca is the Universidad de Salamanca's centre for teaching Spanish as a foreign language. The university was founded in 1218 by King Alfonso IX of León, created a Chair of Spanish Language for foreigners in 1929, and has run Spanish language and culture courses without interruption since 1963. The centre takes part in the DELE, SIELE and USAL esPro Spanish certification exams.

  • Spanish language and culture courses all year round, for all levels, lasting two, three, four, six or ten weeks
  • Complementary subjects such as literature, culture, business, history and art
  • University programmes taken together with native Spanish-speaking students, and Spanish for Erasmus students
  • Online Spanish courses at levels A2 to C1
  • Personalised and group programmes, courses for under-18s and courses in Ávila
  • Training for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language
