Primary and secondary school in Tabaiba, Spain
The Deutsche Schule Santa Cruz de Tenerife (DST, Colegio Alemán) is a German international encounter school (Begegnungsschule) in Tabaiba Alta, El Rosario, about 10 km south of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is an independent private foreign school recognised by the Spanish state, supported with staff and funding by the German Federal Foreign Office, and recognised and supervised by the Standing Conference of German Education Ministers (KMK). It holds the German seal "Excellent German School Abroad", awarded after inspections by the KMK and the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA). The school's history goes back to 1909, and it moved to its current campus in 1999.
